Στην εργασία αυτή διερευνάται η πιθανή αποίκιση του Compylobacter pyloridis (CP) σε έκτοπο γαστρικό βλεννογόνο της Μεκελείου απόφυσης. Εξετάσθηκαν 21 περιπτώσεις από τις οποίες οι τέσσερις (19%) περιείχαν εστίες έκτοπου γαστρικού βλεννογόνου, με ή χωρίς ένδειξη χρόνιας γαστρίτιδας. Ανεξάρτητα από τον τύπο της επιθηλιακής επένδυσης, μικροοργανισμοί του τύπου CP δεν ανευρέθηκαν σε αποφύσεις του Meckel.Αναφορές
