HETEROTOPIC GASTRIC MUCOSA ΙΝ MECKEL'S DIVERTICULA: Α SITE FOR CAMPYLOBACTER PYLORIDIS COLONISATION?
Abstract
Twenty one cases of Meckel's diverticula were examined histologically for the presence of Campylobacter-like organisms (CLO) in heterotopic gastric mucosa. No such organisms were identified in either the heterotopic gastric epithelium or the mucosa of the intestinal type.References
