Abstract

A rare case of pityriasis rubra pilaris in a 53 years-old woman is reported. The appearance of disseminated rash on the trunk:, 8 years from the begining of the disease, establishes an uncommon clinical form of erythroderma. The etiology, clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis and treatment are also discussed.
