EXTRAHEPATIC BILIARY INJURIES ΙΝ CLOSED ABDOMINAL INJURJES
Abstract
4 cases of extrahepatic biliary injuries are presented. 3 of them were due to R.T.A. (Road Traffic Accident). Ιn 2 cases common bile duct was injuried and in the other 2 cases, right and left hepatic duct. The diagnosis in the last two cases was performed by an intraoperative cholangiogram. Common bile duct ruptures were treated by cholopeptic anastomoses while the rupture in bile ducts was treated by using stiches and common bile duct drainage by a T-tube. 2 out of 4 patients were died. Complications, diagnosis and treatment are discussed.References
