Abstract

During the period 1981-1985, 1103 patients were operated and underwent biliary surgery. 59 of them had an other surgical problem which was not found during the time preoperative diagnostic prosedures have been done (5.35%). Ιt is concluded that during biliary surgery and generally abdominal surgery, a very careful investigation of the whole abdomen is required.
