GRANULOMATA AFTER THYROID SURGERY
Abstract
Foreign body granulomata are known to follow the use of silk suture material deep to the skin. This complication was noted to occur after thyroid surgery also after the change from the use of absorbable material (Dexon) in our series between 1983 and 1989 in 200 thyrodectomies.References
