THE VALUE OF γ-CAMERA IN THE UROGRAPHJC NONVISUALIZATION OF THE KIDNEY
Abstract
Forty patients with nonvisualized kidney in the urogram are presented. Αll of them have been sudmitted a scintigram with Tc-99m DMSA or Tc-99m DTPA. We studied our results and concluded that γ-camera is a safe, comfortoble, without adverse reactions and with lοw radiation dosimetry method. Also it can give invaluable information about the function and the decision for preservation the kidney, the degree and site of obstruction and all the cases with congenital anomalies. Consequently γ-camera will be used as supplementary of the Ι.V.Ρ. in many instances.References
