CONBINATION OF MIDAZOLAM, ALFENTANYL AND ETOMIDATE IN MlNOR GYNECOLOGICAL/OBSTETRICAL SURGERIES
Abstract
Secure and satisfactory anesthesiological and surgical conditions were achieved in 40 healthy women (group ASA I ή II), underwent a minor gynecological/obstetrical Surgery (termination of pregnancy, therapeutic and diagnostic DC), by an anaesthetic form consisted of two intravenous anaesthetic agents (midazolam and etomidate) and a narcotic analgesic one (alfentanyl). Cardiovascular stability, quick and smooth recovery, adequate duration of anaesthesia (8-10min) and absence of significant complications make this anaesthetic form a safe alternative method for the prementioned kinds of surgery.References
