Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the use of ChatGPT in the field of Physical Education (P.E.), highlighting the advantages and challenges associated with integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process. The study focuses on the capabilities offered by ChatGPT, such as the development and evaluation of educational programs, supporting teachers in creating curricula and delivering lessons, as well as providing quality feedback to students. Additionally, it emphasizes the potential to enhance engagement and innovation in teaching, create assessment tools, and contribute to research through the analysis of large datasets and conducting literature reviews. However, the challenges related to the accuracy and objectivity of the information provided by ChatGPT, potential biases in the model's training data, and the reliance on technology that may limit the development of critical thinking in students are also addressed. Ethical issues concerning the proper use and protection of data are discussed as well. In conclusion, the integration of ChatGPT in P.E. offers significant opportunities to improve the educational process, but careful use and continuous evaluation are required. Future prospects include the development of strategies to reduce limitations and further integrate innovative technologies in education.
