LIVER HISTOLOGY ΙΝ PREGNANT AND NEONATAL RATS AFTER ΟΝΕ HALOTHANE EXPOSURE ANESTHESΙA
Abstract
This study in neonatal rats (24 hours) concerns the influence of one exposure halothone to their mothers on liver histology, 24 hours before the delivery and one week before the delivery. We used one control group A (n= 15) and one study group Β (n=95). The animals of the study group were divided in two subgroups. The animal's mothers of the first subgroup B1 (n=50) were exrosed in halothone 24 hours before the delivery and the animal's mothers of the second subgroup B2 (n=45) were exposed in halothone one week before the delivery. The changes in liver histology on neonatal rats were quantitative and limited and there were no signals of liver necrosis.References
