Abstract

Three patients suffering from pleural malignant mesothelioma are presented. The symptoms were couph, chest pain, waist pain and dyspnea. The diagnosis οf mesothelioma is difficult. Open pleural biopsy, needle biopsy οf the pleura, are usually necessary to obtain an adequate specimen for histological diagnosis, but CT scans οf the thorax and chest radiograph may be helpful for the diagnosis. The disease is discussed briefly.
