Abstract

Puva is a special form of treatment which has been used in the management of chronic skin diseases for seνerall years. It combines the per os treatment οf (Psoralens-P) with the coincidental patient's exposure to the UVΑ-Β that is absorbed. Psoralens are furocumarine's products which are composed of a furane and cumarine ring and derive from different plants.
