The majority of rheumatic diseases can involve the cardiovascular function (one or more anatomical structure of the heart as perikarditis, myocarditis, involvement of heart's valves, rythm abnormalities, egt). Of the clinical viewpoint particular value has the involvement of the rheumatoid arthritis (in particular the involνement of heart 's valves), of the systemic lupus erythematosus (in particular myocarditis, involvement of coronary circulation or pulmonary hypertension), of the scleroderma (in particular myocarditis and pulmonary hypertension), of the inflammatory polymyositis (in particular myocarditis), of the Kawasaki's disease (microaneurysms of coronary vessels) as well as of the arteriitis Jakayasu (aorta's aneurysm).
