THE NEGATIVE CONVERSION OF TUBERCULIN SKIN TEST DURING PREGNANCY
Abstract
53 pregnant women who had a positive PPD test prior pregnancy without suffering from active Τ.Β. or having history of B.C.G. vaccination, underwent a repeat PPD test on the 6-7th month of their pregnancy. In 8/53 (15%) thc PPD became negative (<1Omm), whereas in the rest, no significant changes in PPD diameter were found. Our findings are discussed in comparison to those of the literature.References
