BREAST CANCER: DIAGNOSTIC METHODS
Abstract
The diagnostic methods of breast cancer have been analyzed briefly. Mammography has been proven as the examen of choice for screening and permitted the precocious diagnosis in 95% of the cases, this way improνing the prognosis. Its technique has been analyzed and paracentesis with fine needle (FNA), cytologic examination, CT as well as MRI scans, ultrasound investigation and scanning have been reported briefly.
