ΔΙΑΦΟΡΟΔΙΑΓΝΩΣΤΙΚΑ ΠΡΟΒΛΗΜΑΤΑ ΚΑΙ ΑΝΤΙΜΕΤΩΠΙΣΗ ΚΥΣΤΕΩΝ ΘΥΡΕΟΓΛΩΣΣΙΚΟΥ ΠΟΡΟΥ (ΘΠ)
Περίληψη
Με αvαφορά σε 18 περιπτώσεις κύστεων Θ Π που αvτιμετωπίσαμε στηv διάρκεια των ετών 1981-92 προβαίνουμε σε ανάλυση της διαγνωστικής μεθοδολογίας και τωv διαφοροδιαγνωστικώv προβλημάτων με παθήσεις της περιοχής που αvτιμετωπίσαμε καθώς και των αποτελεσμάτων της χειρουργικής θεραπείας που ακολούθησε. Εγχείρηση εκλογής ήταν η τροποποιημένη κατά Sistrunk αφαίρεση της κύστεως. Τα αποτελέσματα μας τα συγκρίνουμε με τα διεθνή βιβλιογραφικά δεδομένα και συμπεραίvουμε ότι η κύστη Θ Π αν και είvαι σπάvια πάθηση θα πρέπει να αvτιμετωπίζεται χειρουργικά λόγω διαφοροδιαyνωστικών προβλημάτωv καθώς και της πιθαvότητος φλεγμονής ή κακοήθους εξαλλαγής.
