Περίληψη

Η συμμετοχή των μαθητών στο μάθημα της Φυσικής Αγωγής, κατά την παιδική και εφηβική ηλικία, είναι καταλυτικής σημασίας για τη δια βίου συμμετοχή τους στη φυσική δραστηριότητα. Στην ελληνική και παγκόσμια βιβλιογραφία μπορεί να εντοπιστούν ποικίλα σχολικά προγράμματα Φυσικής Αγωγής τα οποία αποσκοπούν στην ανάπτυξη των κινητικών, κοινωνικών και συναισθηματικών δεξιοτήτων των παιδιών και των εφήβων. Σκοπός της παρούσας ανασκόπησης ήταν να διερευνήσει την επίδραση των προγραμμάτων Φυσικής Αγωγής στην ανάπτυξη των κινητικών, κοινωνικών και συναισθηματικών δεξιοτήτων μαθητών δημοτικού και γυμνασίου. Για τις ανάγκες της ανασκόπησης, πραγματοποιήθηκε αναζήτηση ερευνών σε διεθνείς βάσεις δεδομένων. Μελετήθηκαν και αξιοποιήθηκαν 42 πηγές, οι οποίες περιλάμβαναν σχολικά προγράμματα Φυσικής Αγωγής και εξέταζαν τις επιδράσεις τους στους μαθητές. Τα αποτελέσματα αναδεικνύουν τις ευεργετικές ιδιότητες της Φυσικής Αγωγής στην φυσική κατάσταση, στην ψυχική ευημερία και στην ανάπτυξη των κινητικών, συναισθηματικών και κοινωνικών δεξιοτήτων. Ωστόσο, απαιτείται διαρκής αξιολόγηση και δημοσιοποίηση των επιδράσεων των σχολικών προγραμμάτων σπουδών και του εκπαιδευτικού στα μαθησιακά αποτελέσματα των μαθητών.
